Christine (Christy) joined the Pillar Wealth team in 2007. Christy has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Marketing and a Master of Arts in International Relations, both from the University of Florida. She holds series 7 and 66 licenses. Christy focuses on building client relationships and community outreach. She views her position as a personal financial educator, which stems from her 15 year career in university administration. Christy is dedicated to inspiring empowered financial decision making for individuals and families through every stage of life. She works primarily with women in transition, educators, and families with children.
Christy is a member of NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the Florida Association of International Educators (FAIE), the Georgia Association of International Educators (GAIE), the Women's Executive Club of Fort Lauderdale, the Fort Lauderdale Woman's Club, the Lauderdale Harbors Improvement Association, the UVA Alumni Association of South Florida, the Cambridge Women Advisors Community and the Financial Services Institute (FSI). She also volunteers at St. Anthony Catholic Church and School, Cardinal Gibbons High School and for NAFSA.
Christy resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with her husband Steve and their two children. She spends most of her time driving to basketball, aikido and swim team but in her free time she enjoys yoga classes, wine tasting, and following Gator football with her family.
